This post is all about Valentine date ideas that are NOT going out to eat!
Call me crazy, but one of my least favorite things to do on Valentine’s day is go out to eat! It’s just TOO busy in my opinion. Every place gets booked out months in advance or has lines out the door. The last thing I want to do on a day of love is wait in a line!
Luckily, my husband is on the same page as me so we’ve gotten creative over the last few years spending Valentines together. If you’re also interested in avoiding the crowds, try one of these other Valentine date ideas instead!
Valentine Date Ideas
Go on a hike
Although it can still be quite chilly and dark in February, one of our favorite Valentine activities is to go on a hike! We’ve been able to schedule a midday hike on Valentine’s and it was so perfect. Crisp air, quiet nature, and some quality time together sounds like perfect aspects of a Valentine’s day.
Have a spa night
Another way to achieve an intimate and cozy feeling for Valentine’s day is to set up a spa night! Fill the tub with water and bubbles. Grab some fancy soap, face masks, and/or loofahs. You could even chop up a cucumber and get some fancy bath robes! Add some romance by giving each other some lotioned massages (probably sans clothes).
Move night
Skip the crowds and have an ultimate movie night at home! Build a fort or grab your favorite blankets. Bake a treat or make some popcorn. Then put on your favorite movie and cuddle! For some added spice, pick a romcom movie and decide in advance that you’ll reenact any displays of physical affection 😉
Dinner at home
You can still have a nice dinner to look forward to on Valentine’s, but consider saving time, money, and the hassle by dining at home!
Together, you and your spouse can cook a fancy meal together. Set the table with your finest dinnerware and candles. Get dressed up in your fanciest clothes and voila! Your fancy Valentines dinner just got 10x more romantic without you having to wait in line, spend a fortune, and yell over the noise of the crowd.
If no one wants to cook, you can simply plan ahead and grab a take-n-bake pizza in advance. In my opinion, staying in is much more romantic anyway!

It is obvious everyone here acquired a lot of details regarding the stuff I am interested in and other subjects and info like wise show it. I’m usually not on the web during the week however when I get an opportunity I am usually hunting for this kind of information or things similarly having to do with it. If anyone gets a chance, take a look at my site. denied ssi for child due to income in El Paso
